Before the windows are put in, we sand down all the logs from the inside, to make them look light and make  'em smooth. The dust is just incredible.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Imperfections" get special treatments, like here, exposing a prominent branch stub.

I use triple pane sealed glass units to built the windows from scratch. Even to get them home, I have to come up with a homemade rack for he pick up. That's a nice winter job in my shop.
